An ecommerce development company that hands you the code

We are an ecommerce development company: custom ecommerce development for brands and B2B sellers, with catalog, B2C and B2B quoting, local payments and multi-courier shipping. The source code is yours by contract and already runs in production at Solares.cl.

A subscription platform charges you for as long as you keep selling

Subscription platforms put you online quickly and then bill you every month for as long as the store exists. The fee grows with your sales, every local capability — payment gateway, electronic invoicing, shipping — hangs off a third-party plugin you pay for on top, and the source code is never yours. When the store grows, the bill stops making sense and migrating turns into a project of its own.

  • A monthly platform fee that never ends and grows with your sales.
  • Paid plugins for local payment gateways, electronic invoicing and shipping, several of them half-finished.
  • Your catalog, your customers and your orders live in someone else's infrastructure.
  • The theme decides what you are allowed to change: your store looks like everyone else's.

FAQ

What clients ask before starting

Why hire an ecommerce software development company instead of using a subscription platform?

A subscription platform charges a fee for as long as you sell and the code is never yours; self-hosted open source hands you the code but leaves you assembling the ecosystem out of plugins, many of them paid. We build the store on a standard stack — Next.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL — with local payments, invoicing and shipping integrated natively, and the repository lives under your organization from the first commit. The store ends up as an asset of the business, not a subscription you renew for the right to keep selling.

What do your ecommerce development services include?

Catalog and search, B2C and B2B quoting, checkout with local payment gateways, multi-courier shipping, an admin for the whole operation and the integrations your business already depends on, such as your ERP or electronic invoicing. If you also sell over the counter, connecting the store to your point of sale is omnichannel retail work and we treat it as its own case.

How do you quote a project?

By scope, never by guessing hours. The free audit is where we map what your store actually needs, and you get a written proposal with scope, stack and a fixed cost per phase, so nothing is left open-ended. What moves the number is how much of your operation the store has to cover, how many external systems it integrates with and whether there is an existing catalog to migrate. You approve it phase by phase; it is not a fee that renews on its own.

Who maintains the store after launch?

Your choice: a monthly plan with SLA where we operate and update the platform, a full handover so your team runs it with the documentation we deliver, or a mix of the two. The store runs on infrastructure you control, so what you pay for hosting has nothing to do with what a platform charges for the right to keep selling.

Can you migrate my current store?

Yes. We extract catalog data — products, images, attributes and categories — from the most common platforms, bring over customers and order history, and map every old URL to its new one with 301 redirects so the rankings you already earned survive the move. The migration is part of the project, not a separate surprise.
